Web programming

Web programming is taken from 2 syllables that is programming and web. Programming is defined by the process, the way, the actions of the program [1]. Web Definition: a computer network composed of a collection of Internet sites that offer text and graphics and sound and animated resources via the hypertext transfer protocol. [2]. People are familiar with the web with the term WWW (World Wide Web), World Wide Web is the most popular internet service today the internet is becoming known and widely used after the WWW service. WWW are web pages that can be interconnected with one another (hyperlinks) that make up the oceans of information. WWW runs with HyperText Protocol Transfer Protocol (HTTP). A Web page is a plain text file containing HTML syntax that can be opened / viewed / translated with Internet Browser. HTML syntax is able to load text, image, audio, video and animation content. Now the internet is identical with the web, because the popularity of the web as a standard interface on the services on the internet, from the beginning as a provider of information, it is also used for communication from email to chat, to business transactions (commerce)

Many advantages are provided by Web-based Applications rather than desktop-based applications, so web-based applications have been adopted by companies as part of their information technology strategy, for several reasons:

Access information is easy,
The server setup is easier
Information is easy to distribute

Free of platform, information can be presented by the web browser on any operating system because of the standard documents various data types can be presented
